蛋白三聚体(protein trimer)为三个蛋白质聚合而成的复合体,一般是以非共价作用力聚合而成。由三个相同蛋白质形成的三聚体称为同源三聚体英语Homotrimer,如第三型胶原蛋白英语Collagen, type III, alpha 1[1]真核生物DNA夹(由三个增殖细胞核抗原英语Proliferating cell nuclear antigen组成)[2]冠状病毒表面的刺突[3];由三个相异蛋白质形成的三聚体则称为异源三聚体,如古菌的DNA夹(由PCNA1、PCNA2和PCNA3组成)[2]
