路易斯·桑德豪斯

美国平面设计师

路易斯·桑德豪斯 （Louise Sandhaus，1955至今）是現居加州奧哈伊的女性平面設計師和平面設計教育家。現於加州藝術學院教授本科及研究生的平面設計項目，旗下開設自營設計工作室Louise Sandhaus Design（LSD）。

早年生活及教育背景 編輯

1976年，桑德豪斯於The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale獲得大專（副學士）學位，隨後在1980年代，於波士頓的一家小型出版社工作。 [1] 桑德豪斯於1993和1994年分別獲得了來自加州藝術學院（CalArts）頒發的本科和研究生平面設計學位。1996年獲得荷蘭Jan van Eyck Academie頒發的榮譽碩士學位。

桑德豪斯於1998年成立了自營設計工作室 Louise Sandhaus Design (LSD）。1998到2004年間，擔任加州藝術學院 (洛杉磯縣瓦倫西亞)平面設計系的聯合系主任，並於2004年到2006年間擔任該系的唯一主任。[2]

自1999年，桑德豪斯與建築公司Durfee Regn合作成立了設計團體Durfee Regn Sandhaus，並主導設計了多個博物館展覽和跨學科設計項目。 [3]她的作品被舊金山現代藝術博物館[4]和巴黎法國國家圖書館永久收藏。桑德豪斯還參與策劃了2010年加州設計雙年展《行動/反應》的平面設計部分。 [5]
