紅竹蛇
一种爬行动物
紅竹蛇（學名：Oreocryptophis porphyraceus）又名紫灰錦蛇、紫灰蛇[1]，為黃頷蛇科山隱蛇屬的物種。分布於印度、緬甸、泰國、馬來西亞、印度尼西亞、中華民國以及大陸等地，多生活於山區森林、山路旁、玉米地以及山間溪旁及山區居民點附近。

特徵 編輯
無毒的中、小型蛇類，體長可達1米以上。體色極為鮮豔，有紅黑相間的花紋，頭部呈橢圓形。
習性 編輯
性情害羞溫和，棲息於低海拔山區、農地，卵生，以鼠類為食。

印度（大吉嶺、錫金、阿薩姆、阿魯納恰爾邦）、緬甸、不丹、泰國、寮國、柬埔寨、越南、尼泊爾、中國南方（河南、四川、重慶、貴州、雲南、西藏、陝西、甘肅、江蘇、浙江、安徽、福建、江西、湖南、廣東、海南、廣西、貴州等地）、台灣、西馬、印度尼西亞（蘇門答臘）。該物種模式產地位於印度阿薩姆。
