伊恩·拉什是前威爾斯職業足球員，在1980年至1996年間為威爾斯足球代表隊共上場73次，並射入28球[1]。

拉什於1980年5月21日首次為威爾斯上場，球隊於1980年英國本土四角錦標賽（英語：1979–80 British Home Championship）以1–0敗予蘇格蘭[2][3]。1982年5月27日，拉什於對陣北愛爾蘭的英國本土四角錦標賽（英語：1981–82 British Home Championship）比賽中射入個人首個國家隊進球，協助球隊以3–0於主場擊敗對手[4]。

1991年，拉什於對陣德國的歐國盃外圍賽比賽進球，協助球隊以1–0擊敗當時的世界盃冠軍[5][6][7]。

1992年9月9日，在對陣法羅群島的世界盃外圍賽時，拉什上演生涯唯一一次帽子戲法，協助球隊以6–0勝出。這場比賽後，拉什以23個進球追平杜利華·福特（英語：Trevor Ford）和伊沃爾·奧爾徹奇（英語：Ivor Allchurch）的國家隊進球紀錄[8][9]。
