珊瑚螺亚科

珊瑚螺亚科（学名：Coralliophilinae） 是腹足纲新腹足目之下的一个庞大的猎食性海螺分类元骨螺科之下的一个亚科[1]，包括200到250个物种。

根据布歇特和洛克罗伊的腹足类分类 (2005年)，本分类被认为是骨螺科之下的一个亚科[1]。 在此之前，本分类原来是骨螺总科之下的珊瑚螺科（Coralliophilidae），亦作延管螺科[2]或芜螺科[3]:50。不变的是：无论这个分类是一个科还是一个亚科，遗传研究透过分子标记，已确定本分类一直都保持是一个单系群[4]。

分布及习性

珊瑚螺因为在世界各地温带及热带海洋的珊瑚群居住而得名。其生活水域变化很大，从大西洋中部的加那利群岛到地中海海岸的深海珊瑚（英语：Deep-water coral）；从佛罗里达礁岛群到巴西；在印度洋-太平洋海域、西南太平洋、南太平洋的南方群岛等地。牠们的分布这样广泛，要归功于强大的海洋洋流，把牠们在浮游阶段的若虫带到世界各地[5]。

本亚科的物种专门以珊瑚纲物种为食，主要是钻进珊瑚里捕食；有少数居住在软珊瑚和海葵中，用牠们长长可延伸的口器去摄食当中的软组织。 少部分以柳珊瑚目物种为食。
