埃德加·马丁尼兹奖

埃德加·马丁尼兹最佳指定打击奖，简称埃德加·马丁尼兹奖，是美国职棒大联盟每年颁发给年度最佳指定打击的奖项。该奖项从1973年美国联盟引进指定打击制度后开始颁发，并透过分线采访、广播播报和公共分析的俱乐部或团体所投票选出。[1]一名打者单季必须要以指定打击身份上场至少累积100打席才有获奖资格。[2]

2004年9月，大联盟决定以埃德加·马丁尼兹之名来为此奖项命名，[3]马丁尼兹18年职棒生涯都效力于西雅图水手，打击率为3成12，并敲出309轰与1261分打点。[4]

1973年到2019年间，只有美国联盟采用指定打击。后来国家联盟在2020年试办指定打击制，这也让马歇尔·欧祖纳成为首位获奖的国联球员。[5]在2021年回归投手打击制后，国联决定在2022年跟进美联，永久采用指定打击制。[6]

大卫·欧提兹生涯获奖8次，是大联盟历史第一。[7][8]大谷翔平在2021年成为大联盟首位同时拿下此奖与年度MVP的球员，[9]而他在2023年再度达成此成就。[10]
