IEEE电脑先锋奖

IEEE电脑先锋奖 (英语:IEEE Computer Pioneer Award) 是由IEEE电脑学会英语IEEE Computer Society理事会于1981年设立,旨在表彰与荣耀那些具有远见、致力于电脑产业创新,并持续为电脑产业注入活力的人。这个奖项颁发给至少在十五年前就主要贡献于电脑领域的观念与发展的杰出个人。电脑学会会特别将荣誉事项刻在银制的奖章上。[1]

这奖项邀请所有该专业领域的成员来提名他们认为最有资格获奖的同侪。 提名截止日期为每年的10月15日。

这个奖项分为两种:

  • 电脑先锋特别奖获奖人 - 在这个奖项成立典礼时颁发,主要对象是在1981年以前就已获得IEEE电脑学会奖项,并符合现有电脑先锋奖获奖准则的个人。 
  • 电脑先锋奖获奖人 - 从1981年后每年颁发获奖的个人。
