蛔虫总科
蛔虫总科（学名：Ascaridoidea）[1][2]是蛔目之下的一个总科[3]，由5个科组成，包括有：
- 棘唇科 Acanthocheilidae Wülker, 1929：在2017年中之前被认为是海兽胃线虫科的异名，现时包括三个属，过往被归到棘唇亚科（Acanthocheilinae）之下。
- 海兽胃线虫科 Anisakidae Railliet & Henry, 1912
- 蛔虫科 Ascarididae Baird, 1853
- Heterocheilidae Railliet & Henry, 1915
- Raphidascarididae Hartwich, 1954

编辑在Levin（1968）关于人畜寄生线虫的分类系统，当时的蛔目仍未包括今日小杆目的物种。当时的蛔总科由下列三个科组成：
- 蛔总科（Ascaridicea）
- 卡线科（Kathlaniidae）：今属小杆目的丽尾总科（Cosmoceroidea）；
- 蛔科（Ascarididae）
- 异刺科（Heterakidae Railliet & Henry, 1912）：今属小杆目的异刺总科（Heterakoidea）。
