東地中海地區
海
東地中海地區指的是位於地中海東部（黎凡特海）的西亞 地區，包括敘利亞（黎凡特）地區、塞浦路斯、安納托利亞和埃及。更為廣泛的定義可能還包括 歐洲東南部的土耳其的歐洲部分（東色雷斯）、希臘和阿爾巴尼亞。該地區的各個民族擁有共同的美食傳統、風俗習慣和悠久而相互交織的歷史[1][2][3][4] 。

東地中海地區通常有兩種理解方式：
國家 編輯
東地中海的國家和地區包括塞浦路斯、希臘、阿爾巴尼亞、黎巴嫩、敘利亞、以色列、約旦、土耳其、埃及[5]和以色列 [6][7][8] [9]。東北地中海一詞所指的國家有時可能包括波斯尼亞和黑塞哥維那、保加利亞、克羅地亞、希臘（通常包括在東地中海國家之內）、斯洛文尼亞、北馬其頓、塞爾維亞、科索沃、黑山、羅馬尼亞和烏克蘭 。
