HD 168625是一颗蓝色特超巨星，也是亮蓝变星候选者，位于人马座，人们如果使用业馀望远镜可以很容易看到它。它与蓝色超巨星（蓝色变星）HD 168607形成双星，位于M17（欧米茄星云）的东南方。

距离编辑

天文学家对于HD 168625的距离多远还有它与欧米茄星云、HD 168607之间的关联尚存疑问；虽然有些人认为这两颗恒星在物理上是相关的，也都属于OB星协巨蛇座OB1，距离太阳的距离为2.2千秒差距（7,200 ly）^[9]，根据盖亚数据两者的距离约为1.6千秒差距（ 5,200 ly）^[8]。2002年的一项研究估计这颗恒星距离太阳约为2.8 千秒差距（9,100 ly），与其他两个天体无关^[10]。
