琉球鳖甲蜗牛

琉球鳖甲蜗牛（学名：Ovachlamys fulgens）， 又名艳鳖甲蜗牛、兰屿鳖甲蜗牛[4]，是一种会呼吸空气的蜗牛，属于柄眼目鳖甲蜗牛科的一个陆生肺螺类腹足纲软体动物物种[4]。本物种在英国贝类学家Gerard Pierre Laurent Kalshoven Gude（英语：Gerard Pierre Laurent Kalshoven Gude）于1900年发现及描述之时原作Macrochlamys fulgens[3]，之后被重新分类。

形态描述 编辑

螺壳呈球形，壳口宽，脐孔被部分遮盖[5]:19。

分布及栖息地 编辑

本物种的模式产地位于琉球群岛[5][3]，而当地亦为本物种的起源地[6][7]，模式标本储存于美国佛罗里达州的州立自然历史博物馆（英语：Florida Museum of Natural History）[8]。本物种主要分布于台湾[4]，但目前已经成为入侵物种为祸全球[9]，尤其是热带地区[5]，当中尤以哥斯达尼加（英语：List of non-marine molluscs of Costa Rica）为甚[8][6][7]。估计它们是随同兰科植物的贸易而散播至全球[7]。 常栖息在灌丛下层较潮湿的地方，如落叶层或低矮植物的叶面[4]。在实验室环境内，这些蜗牛的寿命约为九个月[10]。
