The campus' grand venue is the most striking building architecturally. But when viewed from the western fringes of campus, it can be framed perfectly with the backdrop of Mt. Bujang Melaka. Since I missed this shot last month, I grabbed the opportunity to try again as I stayed on campus till later than usual. Today, visibility was again excellent, with strong sunlight shining on the forests on the mountain. This shot was about an hour before sunset, so the colour of light on the mountain was progressing from whitish to more yellowish. This gave the distant trees a more intense green, and my photo a more prominent backdrop, The ideal shot would be at just before sunset but I had to go for this instead due to a heavily clouded western horizon. |
